Your natural self creates effortlessly. I help you tune into who you really are and see new possibilities for moving forward.
I’m a writer, artist, and a creative coach for writers, artists, academics, overthinkers and overachievers, and anyone wanting to tap into their creative energy to start and finish their projects with more ease and flow!
Everyone has the need and ability to express themselves creatively, but we’re not always taught how to trust ourselves and our innate gifts or our flow. We’re taught to think we need to search outside of ourselves for the answers or solutions, or to think we need to work according to someone else’s rules and expectations.
Or we might block ourselves from discovering these gifts or from following our creative impulses because of past experiences…or we might become so tense and pressured by our life circumstances that we lose our connection to our true, naturally creative selves.
To create on a consistent basis without burning out, we need to learn to cast off those old stories, drop the sense of struggle, and switch back into that alive and playful headspace that inspires all great creations.
Check out my guide full of ideas and exercises that help you shift into a creative headspace, go within for answers and steps forward, and to find structure and habits that make sense to you.
From wanting to understand to my own inconsistent writing output, through exploring the creative process in academia and later human centered design, and up to recently working in communications at an art and literary museum that specializes in the creative process—all the while taking writing classes and workshops in NYC—I’ve been studying and practicing creativity in some form for over 10 years.
More importantly, I’ve been collecting insights and tools about getting unstuck and learning to navigate this often challenging, messy, nonlinear process!
